Police and fire crews are investigating a car fire in the western suburbs after a body was discovered inside the vehicle.

The car was found just after 5am on Tuesday morning at a car park on Challenger Parade at City Beach.

The car park remains closed as investigations continue.

The circumstances around the death aren’t being treated as suspicious.
