2015 AFL Draft Recap

The 2015 AFL Draft is in the books and both West Australian clubs have left Adelaide happy despite their first pick being in the late 20’s.
Carlton selected 18 year old Defender Jacob Weitering with the first overall pick with Brisbane’s Josh Schache and Sydney’s Callum Mills rounding out the top three.
South Fremantle product Callum Ah Chee was the first WA player off the board going to Gold Coast at pick number 8, and he’ll be joined by Peel Thunder’s Josh Schoenfeld at pick number 34.
Other West Australian players to find home’s in the AFL include:
Pick 35 :Marcus Adams (West Perth) to Western Bulldogs
Pick 60: Declan Mountford (Claremont) to North Melbourne
Pick 61: Shane Yarran (Subiaco) to Fremantle
Pick 64: Yestin Eades (Originally from Swan Districts) to Essendon
Pick 66: Sam Menegola (Subiaco) to Geelong
Pick 67: Nathan Broad (Swan Districts) to Richmond

Fremantle:
Pick 27: Darcy Tucker (defender/midfielder) North Ballarat Rebels
Pick 38: Harley Balic (midfielder/forward) Sandringham Dragons
Pick 55: Samuel Collins (midfielder) Box Hill Hawks
Pick 61: Shane Yarran (forward) Subiaco
West Coast:
Pick 28: Luke Partington (midfielder) Norwood)
Pick 36: Tom Cole (defender) Sandhurst
Pick 57: Kurt Mutimer (midfielder) Dandenong Stingrays
Pick 62: Matthew Allen (forward) Glenelg
Fremantle’s pick 38 Harley Balic, Dockers List Manager Brad Lloyd and West Coast’s List Manager Craig Vozzo joined Brad and Karl on Sports Today after the busy draft night in Adelaide.
