$4000 meat on the table at Perth’s most serious BBQ festival
Every year the Chidlow community in the Darling Ranges comes together for a barbeque festival that puts the small town on the map.
The annual Chidlow Barbeque Festival is a competition for some of the world’s most serious American BBQ cooking enthusiasts.
Event organiser Norm Brewer told 6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker that the September event isn’t taken lightly.
“One of the guys that competed in our very first (barbecue festival) and has done ever since,
“He has been picked out of the whole of Australia as the number one to go to America to compete in the the very biggest in the world.”
