A 6PR Breakfast caller has voiced her frustration at a local tow truck company who’ve charged her $7000 to tow her car 15 minutes away form an accident and subsequently store it for five weeks.

Lauren told Millsy and Karl it had been in storage for that long because her insurance company refuses to pay the clearly exorbitant fee.

“The tow truck drivers were actually quite friendly to us at the time, and we weren’t in the right state of mind to quesiton them or think about what else to do,” Lauren said.

“We signed the authority with them because we needed to get the car off the road quickly; we didn’t know it would reach this stage.”
