Today, Western Australia’s first State Infrastructure Strategy was released detailing how the state will build more sustainable infrastructure.

The strategy shares how WA will become more sustainable over the next 20 years including, the construction of a trackless tram network in Perth.

Professor at Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute Professor Peter Newman told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the infrastructure is needed in WA.

“I think it will be very spectacular,” said Professor Newman.
