A video of a 94-year-old grandmother complaining about the absence of proper paper flaps to start toilet rolls has gone viral around the world and prompted a major Australian toilet roll company to employ her in quality control.

Granny Daffy has taken to Facebook blasting the quality controllers at Kimberly Clark after purchasing two 24 roll packs of Kleenex toilet paper all absent of the paper flap to start the roll.

Daffy, a former factory worker, and her daughter, Melissa Prescott, created the #BringBackTheFlap movement saying they “feel it is our national duty to rectify this problem with toilet paper rolls all around Australia and all around the world”.

“The foremen at Kleenex, get out there and tell your operators to do their job properly… you have to waste a lot of toilet paper,” Granny Daffy said.

Grandma Daffy’s video caught the attention of Kleenex manufacturers, Kimberly Clark, who flew her out to their factory in South Australia.
