The cost and availability of childcare in Australia is in the spotlight, after the latest Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia report found a huge growth in childcare costs.

The Parenthood’s Acting Executive Director Nicole Lessio told Mornings with Gareth Parker, parents and families are feeling the pinch.

Gareth also asked callers whether the cost of childcare has made it difficult for them to return to work.
