The family of Jock Zonfrillo have rushed back to Australia following the Masterchef judge’s passing following reports they were planning to move overseas.

Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast Mr Zonfrillo had returned and was in the Carlton hotel in order to film the television show.

Mr Ford also covered the fine balancing act Network Ten now faces in airing Masterchef.

“It is very much a juggling act of sympathy and respect, with viewer and financial demands,” he said.
