A young Eritrean refugee has been named the inaugural winner of the Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship, named in honour of the Perth businessman who died last year after a battle with cancer.

23 year old Sara Shengeb, and Geoff’s widow Bronwyn, joined Mornings with Gareth Parker to share the inspiration for the scholarship and Sara’s unique journey to win.
