Ed Sheeran wins plagiarism case, but the fight’s not over
Ed Sheeran has been successful in defending himself against plagiarism charges, saying to the public, “I’m just a guy with a guitar”.
Sheeran had been accused by the estate of Marvin Gaye for stealing key elements of Gaye’s hit song Let’s Get it On in the equally famous Thinking Out Loud.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast he may have been cleared, but he has two similar cases yet to face.
“This case is over and obviously that is a relief; I mean he had been very agitated in the witness box over the last two weeks,” Mr Ford said.
