Westpac goes back on decision to close bank branches
Westpac has announced it will hold off on the closure of eight regional bank branches across the country, including the beloved Denmark branch.
This 180 decision comes after public outcry over the closures.
Australian Citizens Party research director Robert Barwick told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live Westpac has gone back on their previous excuses.
“Suddenly Westpac which had decided to shut down eight branches decided that they are viable,” said Mr Barwick.
