Perth’s Coldplay coup keeps breaking ticket records

There was more than 365,000 people waiting in the digital queue for Coldplay’s second WA show, if the numbers are to be believed.

The news of the internationally-famed band announcing a second WA show caused as much of a stir as the first, and saw even more commotion over the limited amount of tickets.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the show sellouts are unprecedented.

“Let’s just hope a fair whack of those people are coming to Perth specifically for the show,” Mr Ford said.

Peter Ford also discussed Hannah Gadsby doing publicity but not discussing Barry Humphries; and Kylie Minogue scoring a massive US gig.
