A bull reportedly escaped during a line-dancing demonstration during a Kununurra rodeo, leading to patrons running for the fences.

Footage of the incident has swept across social media channels, showing the moment the animal charged into the crowd.

Kununurra local “Sam” told Millsy and Karl on  6PR Breakfast there was multiple children in the arena, who where probably traumatised.

“Like a lot of parents I sent my kids in to have a dance with the line dancers; I was sitting on the picnic rug watching until we started to hear screaming,” Sam said.

“David” called in to 6PR Mornings to tell Gary Adshead his brother was injured by the charging animal.

“I spun around and I saw the bull come out of the pen, and heard the screaming,” David said.
