Michaelia Cash has pulled no punches in her damning commentary of the Federal Government’s handling of the Brittany Higgins controversy.

The Liberal Senator accused the Labor Party of weaponising and exploiting both the case itself and Brittany Higgins for political gains during her conversation with Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings.

“The emergence now of key text messages raises important questions about the actions of Senator Gallagher in relation to this matter,” Ms Cash said.

“She needs to come clean, as does the Prime Minister.”
