Police are having to “hide behind rocks” to avoid being run over by criminals in Kununurra as crime reaches unmanageable levels.

Gullivers Tavern owner Darren Spackman told Millsy and Karl the Kimberley town has an incredibly devoted police force who are doing what they can to stop thefts.

“You’ve got coppers hiding behind rocks with stingers because they’re driving a car at them,” Mr Spackman said.

“You’ve got people in cars actually turning around and chasing police and trying to ram them.”
