The WA Government will increase funding for Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) bins by ten dollars a household in a bid to increase adoption amongst local councils.

Minister for Environment Reece Whitby spoke with Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

“We’ve got a good roll call of councils; 17 have rolled it out, 12 have committed by 2025 and a further five have said that it’s likely they’ll sign up. So that’s 34 in Perth and Peel,” Minister Whitby said.
