WA MPs will receive a pay increase of three per cent, a one-off $3000 cost-of-living bonus and a boost to their allowances after a Salaries and Allowances Tribunal determination.

Channel 9 News Director Gareth Parker spoke with Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

‘The justification for this is that this is what the state governments have been including in their pay offers to public servants,’ Mr Parker said.

“It’s a bit of a difference if you’re a nurse or a police officer or one of our public servants who is toiling away and working hard…”
