West Coast’s newest life member Liam Duggan has credited loyal supporters and a strong resolve for the club’s eight-point loss to St Kilda on Sunday.

One of West Coast’s darkest weeks came to an end on Sunday and Duggan spoke with pride on the improved performance.

“It felt like we were doing something right”.

The 150-gamer credited loyal fans who willed them on after a string of poor performances.

“We really appreciate the fans showing up tonight and giving us that support.”

After some honest reflections, Duggan was optimistic when speaking to the 6PR commentary team post-game.

“It’s a choice for us how this week looked and what the review looked like. I think there will be some really good things to take from this game.”
