A Parliamentary inquiry has recommended the Government should force gambling companies to fund rehabilitation centres by implementing a levy on their earnings

Longtime harm reduction campaigner with Financial Counselling Australia Lauren Levy told Jamie Burnett on 6PR Perth Live a levy would help fund solutions for problem gamblers and raise awareness of the issue. 

“Plus a public education campaign because we want to tell people how to get help, how to get the courage to make that call because we know of that stigma,” Ms Levin said.

“I’m delighted to hear the recommendation for the levy”.
