Housing industry set to only get worse, Property Council warns

Property organisations have warned there is likely a lot more pain ahead for the housing industry, with forward work schedule expectations likely not a reality.

The Property Council of WA regularly surveys construction company’s expectations of future work, a sign of the health of the industry as a whole.

But as PCWA chief Sandra Brewer told Gary Adshead onĀ 6PR Mornings, they’re not convinced those numbers can be actually met.

“Construction companies are doing the very best they can to work through it, but the workplace shortages being forced by those trying to finish their homes are likely to be prolonged,” Ms Brewer said.
