The life and undeniable joy and positivity Constable Anthony Woods brought to the community has been remembered by more than 1500 people in a moving ceremony.

Police, paramedics and other emergency workers gathered at Optus Stadium to share and learn the stories that represented Mr Woods’ proffound impact on those who knew him.

6PR reporter Jake Battrick told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings it was hard to not be moved by the celebration of his life.

“The impact that we’ve heard this young man had on the community just goes to show the turnout is certainly more than justified,” Mr Battrick said.
