Calls to compel clergy to report sex abuse revealed in confessional
The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse is recommending laws be changed so clergymen are legally bound to report confessions of child sex abuse.
Chief executive of the Truth Justice and Healing Council, Francis Sullivan told Mornings with Gareth Parker, there should be a way to protect both children, and the seal of the confessional.
