Eagles skipper Luke Shuey has responded to reports that projected number one draft pick Harley Reid does not want to join West Coast

Shuey told Adam Papalia on Wide World of Sports, he believes the Victorian would adapt well to life in the West, reflecting on his own experiences moving as a teenager.

“I just wanted to get my foot in the door any way I could,” Shuey said.

“Fortunately for me, it’s the best thing I could’ve hoped for.”
