Cash calls Cook to rule out CFMEU ‘super profits tax’
The CFMEU has urged the Albanese Government to solve Australia’s housing crisis with a ‘super profits tax’ to fund the rapid construction of social and affordable housing.
Shadow Minister for Employment Michaelia Cash called for Premier Cook to ‘stand up’ and call on the Prime Minister to rule out the proposed tax.
Ms Cash spoke with Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.
“I have been waiting all day, for now, Premier Cook to stand up and call on Mr Albanese to rule this out immediately.”
