New tools being used to quell the pain caused by missing people
As National Missing Persons Week begins, experts and organisations are reminding the public of the enormous weight disappearance places on loved ones.
University of New England Associate Professor and missing persons expert Dr Sarah Wayland told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings there is a novel social perspective on missing people, but the reality is much more harsh.

“I think we all understand that grief is a universal experience,” Ms Wayland said.
“But the experience of families of missing people is that they live with an unresolved loss.”
