WA Police open doors for vulnerable sex crime victims
WA Police have established a world-first in launching an online tool which gives victims of sexual assault and abuse the opportunity to report the crimes anonymously.
Sex Crime Division Acting Superintendent Hamish McKenzie talked to Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the app aims to grant victims a clearer pathway to finding support.

“This is all about empowering victims and survivors to have some sort of control as to how the investigation unfolds,” Spt. McKenzie said.
“It also ensures your anonymity; we’re hoping this will help those who really need it.”
