Fans flocking to Optus Stadium for Western Derby 57 will be hit with a double feature of sports blockbusters, with the Stadium screening the Matildas quarter-final clash with France tomorrow before the highly-anticipated derby bouncedown.

Optus Stadium CEO Mike McKenna spoke with Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons.

“We’ll be playing [the Matildas game] inside the stadium for those attending the game, and also on the BHP Amphitheatre large screen outside the stadium, about a thousand people who might want to get there early and watch it on the grass.”
