WA’s fight to stop the spread of cane toads is faltering, with Kimberley locals reporting the toxic pest has wiped out native wildlife and reached the western coastline of the region.

“They have been moving across the Kimberly, most probably [cover] 200km or thereabouts in two to three years,” he said.
