Senate inquiry into regional bank closures to hold WA hearings
The Senate inquiry into bank closures in regional Australia will hold hearings in WA this week, to give Western Australians the chance to have their say on the banks abandoning regional communities.
Australian Citizens Party Research Director Robert Barwick spoke with Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live and said West Australians have copped a hiding with branch closures and must have their say,
“I think it’s very important that if you’re anywhere in Perth or WA and your bank is closing you must complain to your local member of parliament.”
