RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Flight crew assaulted on Karratha flight
A 62-year-old Fremantle man has been charged with assaulting a Qantas crew member on a flight from Perth to Karratha on Thursday.
The incident resulted in flights from Karratha being delayed for up to eight hours.

Qantas has stated police met with the flight upon arrival, and that the safety of their customers and crew is their “number one priority”.
“We have zero tolerance to any kind of abusive behaviour,” the statement read.
It is believed the crew member did not receive significant injuries in the incident.
