Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have written character references for convicted rapist and That 70’s Show co-star Danny Masterson.

US actor Mr Masterson was sentenced 30 years to life in prison for raping two women in the early 2000’s.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford spoke to Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast about the backlash the pair received for providing a character reference.

“I do think when you’re talking about someone who’s been found guilty of two charges of rape it’s a whole different category,” Mr Ford said.
