Police allege there has been a second attempted child abduction in the Perth suburb of Warnbro within two months, after a nine-year-old girl was snatched in July.

On Tuesday, a WA Police spokeswoman said a 12-year-old girl was approached by a man around 2.40pm Monday as she walked home from her primary school near Exeter Street.

Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage of the area between 2pm and 3.30pm is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000 or report online via crimestopperswa.com.au.
