Danny Hodgson has criticised WA’s justice system after learning his attacker has been arrested for another crime.

Mr Hodgson was punched in the head unprovoked outside Perth train station in September 2021.

He was informed earlier this week that his attacker was arrested for another alleged violent crime and released on bail.

Mr Hodgson told Michael Thomson on 6PR Mornings it was a matter of time before his attacker reoffended.

“They don’t care about people’s safety in this country unfortunately,” Mr Hodgson said.

“They only care about making money and they know that when these offenders commit crimes, these lawyers all claim the same thing.”
