Barry Crocker has done it all across six decades as a singer, actor, dancer and entertainer, and he’s rubbed shoulders and shared the stage with some of the world’s greats along the way.

Now the modern-day raconteur is telling his story in a new autobiography, Barry Crocker: the Last of the Entertainers.

Mr Crocker joined Jamie Burnett on 6PR Mornings to talk about his inspiration for the book, his relationships with his fellow entertainers and how he copes now that they’re all gone.

“Well it all started with chasing birds,” Mr Crocker said.
