Australian  actor High Sheridan has described just how shocking and difficult it was to find shelter and eventually escape Israel over the weekend.

Sheridan was forced to bunker down in a stairwell in the apartment he was staying in along with many others.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast celebrity’s stories being shared online are giving an important perspective of how all in the area are suffering.

“Yes we’re talking about a celebrity, but we’re not for one second saying that celebrities are more important than anyone else,” Mr Ford said.
