It was a quiet remembrance this morning at Kings Park’s Bali Memorial but, as Bali Memorial Association spokesperson Keith Pearce told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast, that’s the norm in between bigger events like last year’s.

Around 50 people gathered at sunrise to remember the tragedy and pain of the Bali Bombing, both as a horrible event and a defining moment for West Australians.

“There’s a lot of people who still carry the scars,” Mr Pearce said.

“It’s a hard time for the boys that returned; it’s even harder for the parents of those who didn’t.”
