‘Unmitigated disaster’: Opposition calls on Cook to urgently shut Unit 18

The opposition is calling on the State Government to urgently close Unit 18 at Casuarina Prison in the wake of the death of a 16-year-old male last week.
Shadow Corrective Services Minister Peter Collier told Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live Unit 18 should have never opened, labelling the unit an ‘unmitigated disaster’ by the Labor government.
