‘It’s unfair!’: Harvey Norman owner on why he’s pro-Optus
The owner of Harvey Norman has come out in support of Optus claiming it’s “un-Australian” to kick the company while it’s down after the service providers widely-criticised national outage.
Gerry Harvey says what happened to Optus could happen to any business.
“You get a situation where you’re the CEO of a public company, and it could happen to any public company, the CEO doesn’t run the IT department,” he told Gary Adshead.
