Subsidiary of popular car maker under investigation for falsifying safety test results
A subsidiary of the Japanese car maker, Toyota, has shut down their production lines as the Japanese government looks into reports the company faked safety test results for more than 30 years.
Managing editor at Drive.com.au, Trent Nikolic, says there’s no risk of any Australians driving the impacted cars.
“This doesn’t affect cars that have been sold in Australia or are on sale in Australia,” he told 6PR Mornings.
