Alien invasion, robot uprisings, global catastrophes… but also hope.

That’s the message Brazilian psychic and Instagram influencer Athos Salomé – aka “The Living Nostradamus” – has ridden on the way to international celebrity.

As Futurologist Rocky Scopelliti explained to Russell Collett on Perth Live, while Salomé may have inadvertently detailed what is to come, the encroaching era of robotics may not all be so bad.

“If it frees us up from those mundane tasks, which will allow humanity to apply their creativity and critical thinking onto new and more important tasks, then why not?” Professor Scopelliti said.
