Mental health crisis: $60 million clinic shuts doors one year after opening
A privately operated 75-bed mental health clinic will close its doors less than a year after it opened because it is “not financially viable” and is struggling to find specialist staff.
Bethesda Health Care CEO Neale Fong told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings that despite passionate efforts to maintain the facility, economic pressures have hampered efforts.
“It’s a very sad day for our organisation, and for people who need our help.”
