Airlines cancelling leaving customers out of pocket is nothing new but WA Liberal Senator Dean Smith wants to see those Airlines compensate customers. 

Senator Smith told Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live that “everyone would agree that the Australian aviation industry market is uncompetitive and very expensive.” 

“Over the last few years we’ve seen huge profits being made from the likes of Qantas and others but a real deterioration in services”

The Senator has penned a play that will see a compensation regime that won’t see customers out of pocket.
