The CEO exodus continues: Woolies boss the latest in ‘dissappointing’ trend
Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci is the latest in a growing menagerie of Australian CEOs to step down over the last year after he recieved a media hammering at the hands of Four Corners and subsequent publications.
Many commentators have pointed out that Banducci has overseen a successful resurgence of Woolworths economically, but his media appaerances have sucked any momentum out of his tenure.
Media Stable Managing Director Nic Hayes told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast it’s very unfortunate a lot of leadership throughout the country is falling prey to easily-avoided mistakes.
“You’re only as good as your last media appearance… If I were Brad, I would sit down and do a lot pof proper media training from this point on,” Mr Hayes said.
