Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in Kingsley following an alleged stabbing.

Upon arrival, a man in his 80s and woman in her 70s, were located with serious injuries.

The woman was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital via St John’s Ambulance where she remains in a stable condition.

Sadly, the man died at the scene.

Police have responded to a serious incident in Peeth’s northern suburbs, with residents being warned to stay indoors.

People in the Greenwood area are being told to stay in doors and stay on alert.

Police say the man is now in custody.
