Bankwest have announced they will close every one of their physical branches in WA in an effort to “accelerate investment in our digital banking and broker services”.

Forty-five branches will close within the next six months, while 15 regional locations will be converted to CBA branches by the end of the year.

Oliver Peterson was joined on Perth Live by Bankwest Personal Banking Manager Scott Spittles, Leader of The Nationals David Littleproud, Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor and Australian Citizens Party Research Director Robert Barwick to dissect the implications of Bankwest’s branch closures.
