National strategy demanded as floods cut off WA once again
Flooding has once again cut off road and rail links into Western Australia, as drought-breaking storms pass over the Nullarbor.
The Eyre Highway is set to reopen this hour after being cut off by flooding; the Trans-Australian Railway remains underwater and could be closed for several days, which could impact supply chains.
Western Roads Federation CEO Cam Dumesny told Gary Adshead onĀ 6PR Mornings the issues of flooding are progressively getting worse every wet season.
