Jeremy Finlayson cops three-match ban for ‘highly offensive’ slur
Port Adelaide forward Jeremy Finlayson has been suspended for three games, after making homophobic comments towards an Essendon player.

9 News sports reporter Paddy Sweeney told Sean Cowan on 6PR Breakfast the AFL will likely avoid any further commentary on the topic.
“I would be very surprised if the AFL said, ‘hey, here’s a deep dive into how we arrived at this decision,” Mr Sweeney said.
