‘Now is the time for Australia to come together’: Floreat murderer’s daughter demands change
The daughter of the man who carried out Friday’s double murder in Floreat has issued an angry public statement.
Ariel Bombara says that in the week after she and her mother fled their Mosman Park home in late March, she spoke with police three times.
She says she told officers that there was a real and imminent threat to their lives, and raised concerns about a handgun that hadn’t been accounted for.

Ms Bombara says she was told she and her mother could not apply for a temporary protective order.
She says there are authorities who should have helped her and her mother to stop her father, and they failed.
Ms Bombara has also expressed her deep sorrow to Liesl Petelczyc, whose mother and sister were murdered in their home.
