The City of South Perth’s Cats Local Law proposes to ban cats from 27 areas, Councillor Adin Lang says while it’s a positive move to restrict the movement of domestic cats across public areas, he believes it doesn’t go far enough.

City of Fremantle Councillor Adin Lang joined 6PR Afternoons to discuss the plan to put cats under effective control.

“We are struggling to get those laws through where cats should be kept home and only let out on a lead,” Lang said on 6PR Afternoons.
