Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell flew to WA for a secret meeting with West Coast Eagles star Tom Barrass.

Mark Readings told 6PR’s Breakfast hosts Millsy and Oly this morning that Mitchell reportedly boarded a flight to Perth after the Hawks beat Adelaide in South Australia on Sunday to meet with Barrass.

“I think ideally Tommy would like to go to the Hawks if he had a choice of the two simply because I imagine he has a pretty good relationship with Sam,” Readings said.
